In 1974, Alfred Mack founded the business with a practical idea: offer quality, name-brand mattresses at a fair price. Mack’s first chapter took root on Cleveland Avenue.

The people behind the Mack name.
1987–2026
David and Sherrie carry it forward.
David joined the family business in 1987. Sherrie, Alfred’s daughter, found a genuine love for helping customers. The Sawmill Road store opened the following year and became Mack’s next chapter in Columbus.
2018–Today
Bryan and Jordan build toward the next 50 years.
Today, Bryan and Jordan, Alfred’s granddaughter, are carrying Mack forward with their growing family. The goal is larger than selling beds: listen first, make the meaningful differences easier to understand, and help more people feel supported before, during, and long after delivery.
